THE TENOR JOHANNES HUBMER WAS BORN IN LINZ IN 1995.
HE RECEIVED HIS FIRST SINGING LESSONS AT ADALBERT
STIFTER-GYMNASIUM LINZ.
AT THAT TIME HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE CORO CARISSIMI UNDER
MICHAEL WRUSS AND MADE IN THE OPERA CHOIR IN THE PRODUCTION OF FRANZ
SCHREKER'S OPERA “THE TREASURE TREES” (DIRECTOR: PHILIPP HARNONCOURT) GET YOUR FIRST STAGE EXPERIENCE.
SINCE OCTOBER 2015 HE HAS BEEN STUDYING SINGING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MOZARTEUM SALZBURG IN THE CLASS OF DR. JOHN THOMASSON.
HE SINGS IN THE SALZBURGER BACHCHOR (SALZBURGER FESTSPIELE) AND WITH THE BACHWERK VOCAL.
HIS SPECIAL PASSION IS FOR ARTISTIC SONG.
IN SEPTEMBER 2017 HE GOT HIS FIRST SONGS EVENING WITH FRANZ SCHUBERTS “DIE SCHÖNE MÜLLERIN”; FOR THIS PERFORMANCE IT WAS AWARDED WITH THE “JUWEL” TALENT PROMOTION AWARD. ON THE OPERA STAGE, THE TENOR HAS ALREADY BEEN IN WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART'S “LA FINTA SEMPLICE” (IN THE ROLE OF FRACASSO) - 2018, PHILIPPE BOESMANS ' "REIGEN" (AS YOUNG MAN) - EXPERIENCE 2018 AT THE MOZARTEUM.
WITH THE FOUR-FOLD ROLE ANDRÈS / COCHENILLE / FRANTZ / PITICHINACCIO IN OFFENBACH'S “LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN” 2019 AT THE MOZARTEUM (DIRECTOR: ALEXANDER VON PFEIL, MUSICAL DIRECTOR: GERNOT SAHLER) HE WAS PRIZED FOR HIS “FAMOUS CHARACTER STUDIES”. (KARL HARB, SALZBURGER NEWS)
