JAKOB HOFFMANN
THE BARITON JAKOB H OFFMANN, BORN IN MUNICH, HAD
HIS FIRST PRIVATE SINGING LESSONS FROM 2011-2014
AT FLORIAN DENGLER.
DURING THIS PERIOD, HE SINGED IN VOWEL SEMBLES AND
CHOIRS LIKE THE SWABIAN ORATORIO CHOIR, THE
CHOIR ACADEMY BAVARIAN-SWABIAN, AND THE BAVARIAN STATE YOUTH CHOIR.
IN OCTOBER 2014 HE STARTED HIS BACHELOR'S SINGING WITH PROF. ANDREAS MACCO AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MOZARTEUM SALZBURG. IN ADDITION, HE GUESTED IN SOME OPERA PRODUCTIONS IN THE OPERA CLASSES.
HE GOT FIRST EXPERIENCE ON THE OPERA STAGE IN THE ROLES OF ANTONIO AND BARTOLO IN “LE NOZZE DI FIGARO” BY WA MOZART. AT A GUEST PLAY IN HANGZHOU (CHINA) IN 2017 HE HAD HIS FIRST INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE WITH THE PRODUCTION "LE NOZZE DI FIGARO" BY THE KAI RÖHRIG AND KAROLINE GRUBER OPERA CLASS. In 2018 HE SANG THE ROLE OF STARVELING IN B. BRITTEN'S “A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM” IN THE SAME OPERA CLASS.
SINCE OCTOBER 2019, JAKOB HOFFMANN HAS STUDIES IN THE MASTER'S DEGREE IN OPERA AND MUSIC THEATER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MOZARTEUM SALZBURG IN THE OPERA CLASS OF KAI RÖHRIG AND KAROLINE GRUBER, AS WELL AS IN THE SINGING CLASS OF ANDREAS MACCO. DURING HIS STUDIES, HE TAKEN MASTER COURSES AT SNEJINKA AVRAMOVA (MUNICH, 2016), ANDREAS MACCO (SUMMER ACADEMY SALZBURG, 2017) AND BERND VALENTIN (UNIVERSITY OF MOZARTEUM SALZBURG, 2018). SINCE OCTOBER 2019 IT HAS BEEN PART OF THE VOCAL ENSEMBLE 'BACHWERKVOKAL', WHICH IS DIRECTED BY GORDON SAFARI.
IN DECEMBER 2020 HE WILL BE SEEN AS SEIKYO IN "TEA: A MIRROR OF SOUL" BY TAN DUN AND IN MAY 2021 AS PAPAGENO IN "THE MAGIC FLUTE" BY WA MOZART IN THE OPERA PRODUCTION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MOZARTEUM SALZBURG.
